Steel tube making is a very heavy industry and the product is difficult to see clearly in the mills often difficult to see in application. As we were working on product literature for Tata we were briefed to create interesting and informative photography of sections of their tubes. Steel tube is a carefully engineered product – radius corners in hot-formed product are tighter than in coldformed, cross sections vary etc – and it was important to show these details as a comparison to their competitors’ products. The portfolio of images we created is now widely used across Tata communications materials.
