Delegates at the Skills for Chefs conference in Sheffield were treated to some warm rays of California sunshine this year, as we exhibited there for the first time on behalf of the California Prune Board. Ahead of the show, we invited leading chefs to devise dishes using California prunes, and their ideas were distributed to everyone attending - one of those chefs won the Skills for Chefs 2009 Chef of the Year, so it certainly helps to know the right people! We generated lots of new contacts, which should lead to new business for our client in the foodservice arena.
